It is believed that Brian Jones died under mysterious circumstances on July 2nd/3rd 1969 & may have been murdered-Please go to the above link & sign the petition to help get Brian Jones death reinvestigated-Please tell your friends & musician friends to sign also for justice for Brian Jones! Brian Jones contributed so much to music-especially to the music of The Rolling Stones-Brian's musical contributions to the Stones biggest hits-Slide guitar on "Little Red Rooster",Harmonica on "Not Fade Away",Lead guitar main intro riff of "The Last Time",Dulcimar in "Lady Jane","I am Waiting",Marimbas on "Under My Thumb",Flute(recorder) on "Ruby Tuesday",Sitar on "Paint it Black"."Mother's Little Helper",Fuzz guitar on "Think","Have You Seen Your Mother Baby,Standing in the Shadow?",Mellotron organ on "We love You","2000 Light Years From Home",County slide on "No Expectations" just to name a few! Brian played on just about virtually any musical instrument laying around in the studio & his musical contributions definitely helped make the Stones songs the classic hits they've become-Amazing! There would be no Stones as we know without Brian Jones as Brian is the spirit behind the Rolling Stones. Brian was one of the first to notice & rave about rock's greatest guitarist Jimi Hendrix & introduced Jimi to America at the Monterey Pop festival-June 1967! RIP BRIAN JONES!
